For Main Cabin domestic flights, the first checked bag is $35 and the second is $45. Bags must not exceed 50 lbs or 62 linear inches. Baggage fees are waived for First Class, Delta Premium Select, Delta One passengers, and eligible SkyMiles Medallion members and co-branded credit card holders.

Delta allows one free carry-on bag (max 22 × 14 × 9 inches, up to 35 lbs) and one free personal item (max 18 × 14 × 8 inches, must fit under the seat in front of you). There are no weight limits for carry-ons, but the bag must fit in the overhead bin.

They are stored in your SkyMiles account and can be applied toward a future Delta flight purchase. eCredits typically expire 12 months from original ticket issue date. SkyMiles are earned on every Delta flight based on miles flown and fare class. You also earn miles via Delta's co-branded credit cards, Starbucks, Hertz, and other partners. Delta Medallion elite status has four tiers: Silver (25,000 MQMs), Gold (50,000 MQMs), Platinum (75,000 MQMs), and Diamond (125,000 MQMs). Yes. Delta allows small dogs, cats, and household birds to travel in the cabin for a one-way pet fee (varies by destination, typically $95–$200).
